how it works
I work from photos, so I need at least one to make a start. I like to get a good likeness, so the better the photo the better the end result. You can supply extra photos too - I can composite them together to get the perfect portrait.
Little details make a huge difference - if there’s a favourite t-shirt or pair of shoes I can include it in the final piece.
how to order
You can select an option from the shop here. There are small, medium and large options, and you can choose the number of people in the portrait. Portraits start at £95.
If you prefer to discuss the portrait, you can drop me an email (whimbrel.illustrations@gmail.com) or give me a call at the studio (01326 374 659). I will work out the possible sizes, orientations, compositions, and will get back to you with a quote.
My lead time varies between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on my workload, but I can usually give you a better idea when ordering.
You can collect the piece if you’re local, or I can arrange postage. I can supply a frame if collecting, but won’t post anything framed (as broken glass can pierce the art).
